Snorkeling in the south of Thailand and Myanmar - Activity

 (1) Going on a trip with my friends and my best friend's family constantly forced me to come out of my comfort zone due to the activities we did that I had never done before. I have thought of snorkeling before multiple times while on holiday trips with my family but never built up the courage to attempt this activity. Our entire group were in the middle of the sea when the tour guides said they anchored the boat and asked if we wanted to go snorkeling in the sea to look at corals and beautiful fishes. It was a fascinating thought to me but I was still afraid of going underwater with the snorkeling equipment as I was worried my glasses would fog and I would not see where I am headed. However, one of my friends who was also afraid of snorkeling and having to swim with the snorkeling masks and fin as we both heard it takes a while to get used to and comfortable with them.
(2) I managed to push myself to go snorkeling, knowing I would be meters deep as well sea urchins that were quite dangerous and were close to where we were swimming. I decided to be patient and ask the instructors what to do so that I would not be afraid and freak out which could cause me to accidentally touch the sea urchins.
(3) This activity has really helped me develop as a person and since I snorkeled for the first time, me and my friend continued to snorkel at every other island of the boat trip. By the last few islands I was allowed to snorkel without the fins and allowed to go deeper into the water on my own as they said I was a relatively strong swimmer.

(LO1)  I'm able to memorize monologues very quickly so it eliminates one of the many hard obstacles of the exam. However, what I need to develop is the range of emotions for each character as there are 3 exams so that I do not end up having the same emotion in each monologue. (LO2) Another challenge was the knowledge section of the exam where we had to choose a practitioner to learn about and be tested on. I chose Constantin Stanislavski as I remembered his acting techniques from researching about him during my Igcses. The lamda examiner questioned me about how Stanislavski turned realism to naturalism withn acting and what were his teachings. (LO3) The perseverance part was the hardest as I would struggle to split my time between homework, school work and revision that I usually do during my free periods that would be re...
