Pottery Class - Creativity

When I visited by sister, she talked about this pottery class she went to every week or two so I decided I would join her and learn the techniques of working with ceramics properly, with a teacher. (1) It was a challenge in its creative aspect, not so much in the technical one as I would often be unsure of what I wanted to create or at least how to make it unique from other bowls for example. It was unfamiliar to me as I have never done pottery before or been part of ceramic art as I thought it would require too much skill and I would not be able to do it. (2) My area for personal growth would be to be more patient and not rush the process of making
the objects, as clay can easily be broken off when wet and when you try to go at a different type as your machine. (3) Continuing to commit to these pottery classes, it quickly became a hobby for when I would go visit my sister and it was therapeutic when I could work on my ceramics without the teacher as it made me challenge myself to explore different techniques to create different patterns and shapes which was really exciting. These classes were a good choice as it allowed me to try to either re-create objects or make my own versions of certain objects. I would have loved to continue this hobby but disappointingly, the studio that hosted these classes decided to shut down the section of their studio for pottery classes as they said not many people were attending these classes and/or paying a membership to get access to all the tools in order to makes these ceramics.

(LO1)  I'm able to memorize monologues very quickly so it eliminates one of the many hard obstacles of the exam. However, what I need to develop is the range of emotions for each character as there are 3 exams so that I do not end up having the same emotion in each monologue. (LO2) Another challenge was the knowledge section of the exam where we had to choose a practitioner to learn about and be tested on. I chose Constantin Stanislavski as I remembered his acting techniques from researching about him during my Igcses. The lamda examiner questioned me about how Stanislavski turned realism to naturalism withn acting and what were his teachings. (LO3) The perseverance part was the hardest as I would struggle to split my time between homework, school work and revision that I usually do during my free periods that would be re...
