Baking Cupcakes For My Family - Activity

It was Thursday night when I just finished my homework and realized that my family, especially my dad loves baked goods. I remembered that I have not baked in over a year as every time I did bake in the past, the results were disastrous, either too sweet or too burnt. However, I decided I was going to try to bake this for my family and try my hardest. By trying to film myself while mixing the batter, I ended up spilling it out of the bowl. I felt tired and as though I was never going to be able to bake correctly on my own. (LO1) I thought to myself that I should try again and make another batter because I was committed to trying to bake these cupcakes knowing they would make my family happy. Organizing Arts & Crafts for the children at hand to hand foundation - Creativity, Activity & Service

 On December the 6th, all the IBs in my school went to the hand to hand foundation in Pattaya, some helped build a garden for the charity, others like me, created activities for the children. Me, Panittha, Mara, Tara and Leanna were organizing the arts & craft activities which included making a hand print onto paper which ends up forming a reindeer hat, a snowman using cotton balls and glue, make necklaces out of fruit loops and lastly, we cut paper plates up into 3s and formed a Christmas tree which the children could decorate.   (LO1) Working together, each one of us was in charge of bringing materials for the activity they're in charge of, for me I brought the paper plates and normal colored paper. (LO2) We planned the activities 2 weeks before going there, we made a group chat on facebook to ensure that everyone could give their ideas, opinions and ask any questions if they need to.
