Babysitting - Service

(LO1) New skills – ability to change diapers, study how babies act and what they need depending on their facial expressions or if they cry.

(LO2) Commitment – times where the baby would want to be carried in my arms while needing me to also walk around for hours was very tiring and my arm would constantly be in pain but I wanted to put the comfort and happiness of my nephew as priority

(LO3) Developed skills – techniques to carry the baby, ability to know the baby’s sleeping and eating schedule

(LO4) Challenges – the same as needing to carry the baby whenever he would want me to, to be able to accept it when the baby would accidentally get sick on me after eating, making sure the baby is clean, gets enough sleep and is comfortable

(LO5) Worked collaboratively – I would sometimes babysit with my other sister as well which was quite fun as we felt like real aunts for the first time, she also reassured me that I was doing a good job with the baby and that as long as I’m comfortable then so is the baby because if you feel as though you are constantly going to drop him then you wont be carrying him in a way that will feel natural to both of you. My oldest sister who is the mother helped teach me how to change the diaper the first time

I chose Constantin Stanislavski as I remembered his acting techniques from researching about him during my Igcses.
