Baseball turned out to be quite a fun experience although I did wish we played on a field rather than with the mechanic machine but I did get to try pitching the ball as well. (LO1 – undertaken new challenges) The first challenge was choosing which speed was right for me as there were different sections where the balls would be hit at different mph, some of the speeds on the machine were so high, they were throwing at the same rate as a professional baseball pitcher was, and that’s crazy! The second challenge was to know how to stand correctly so that I can properly hit the ball, the biggest challenge though was actually hitting the ball, it was much harder than I thought it would be in all honesty. I did do a lot better than my sister though, on the bright side, after a very tiring few hours, I now know how to hit and pitch a baseball.
